I have been super quiet on social media for the last 3 months.

Not quiet.

Silent.

Do you know how you feel when you need a break from something?

You feel a bit exhausted by it. You are showing all of the signs of disinterest but you have formed a habit around it so you do it anyway.

I had reached a point where I needed a break from all social media. My friend, Jen, called it my “social media detox.”

It was glorious.

I would say I was on social for less than an hour total in the 3-month period.

Instead, what I did was focus on my productivity and performance.

I decided to maximize every moment of every day.

When it was work time, I worked.

When it was time to connect with others, I connected.

When I had quiet time, I did my self-development practices and rituals.

When it was date night and time with my husband, we enjoyed our time together.

I found the space to connect with my own thoughts, ideas, and vision for my life and my future.

The time away from social media helped me to connect with all of the levels of my inner guidance system and get to know how I receive intuitive messages.

I also started building my new company.

I hired new team members and started buying back my time.

In buying back my time I discovered that I did not have to be on social media to grow. I could hire out the aspects that take up my time or create distractions for me.

My social media silence is over for the time being.

I may not always be the one doing the posting directly.

It is because I am saving my energy for what really matters.

I want every word I write to string together with the other words in a way that creates transformation and aha moments for all of my readers.

To do that it is important for me to keep my mind clear.

What helps you to keep your mind clear?

How will you take more time for yourself, to love yourself up, and recharge?

Recharging is vital.

What would change for you if you

Freed up your time?

Freed up your headspace?

Freed up your bandwidth?

And then decided, with intention, what you wanted to fill that space with.
